Neuromodulators

More commonly referred to by their brand names (Botox®, Dysport®, Daxxify®, Xeomin®, etc.), neuromodulators effectively function to relax facial muscle contraction, smoothing out wrinkles.

• Glabellar Lines: These vertical lines between the eyebrows give the appearance of scowling.
• Crow’s Feet: These fine lines radiating from the corners of the eyes are reduced, softening the eye area for a more refreshed look.
• Forehead Lines: Smoothing the horizontal lines across the forehead creates a smoother, more youthful look while maintaining natural expression.
• Brow Lift: The eyebrows are subtly lifted by relaxing the “depressor” muscles that bring them down, opening up the eye area for a more alert, less sleepy appearance.
• Bunny Lines (nose): These wrinkles on the top of the nose that appear when you sniff or scrunch are softened, creating a smoother appearance.
• Lower eyelid rolls (“Jelly rolls”): Neuromodulator injection can help smooth the appearance of puffy lower eyelids, reducing the “jelly roll” effect.
• Lip Lines (smokers lines): Vertical lines above the upper lip can be softened, creating a smoother lip area.
• Lip flip: A small amount of neuromodulator injected above the upper lip can cause it to “flip” outward slightly, creating the appearance of a fuller lip; this can be a great alternative to upper lip filler.
• Gummy smile: This treatment reduces the amount of upper gum shown when smiling.
• Trap Tox: Injections into the trapezius muscles can help relax and slim the upper back and shoulder area.
• Marionette Lines: The lines that run from the corners of the mouth to the chin are dampened, creating a tighter, more lifted appearance to the lower face.
• Chin: The dimpled, “orange peel” appearance on the chin can be smoothed for a more youthful look.
• Vertical Neck Bands: Softening the vertical bands of the neck can create a smoother appearance.
• Hyperhydrosis: (excessive sweating): This debilitating problem causes unsightly sweat stains around the armpits, and can lead to significant stigma. Neuromodulator injection significantly reduce excessive sweating by blocking the nerve signals that stimulate sweat glands, significantly improving socialization and quality of life.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be made of naturally-occurring substances in our bodies, such as hyaluronic acid (HA) or calcium hydoxylapatite (CaHA), or can be synthetic, such as poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). During your consultation, we can review all options and help you decide which, if any, is right for you and your goals. Dermal fillers can be injected alone, or as an adjunct to neuromodulator, to treat glabellar lines, crow’s feet, marionette lines, lip lines, and restore chin volume, among others.

Deoxycholic Acid
