FEBRUARY 12, 2026 || A recent article in The Star-Ledger has highlighted changes affecting many medspas in New Jersey following the end of COVID-era executive orders. During the pandemic, temporary waivers allowed some medspas to operate without proper medical director oversight. Now that these emergency provisions have ended, facilities must comply with existing regulations requiring licensed medical directors and supervisory agreements by February 16.

The good news? Atrium will continue operating without any interruption.

How We’re Prepared

Since opening our doors in June 2025, Atrium has operated with a fully-licensed medical director and proper supervisory agreements in place. When the deadline arrives, nothing will change about how we deliver your care because we established our practice with these protocols from the beginning.

Our commitment to clinical quality means every treatment—from Botox and dermal fillers to laser therapy, microneedling, facials, headspa and massage therapy, among others—is delivered under proper medical oversight by our fully-licensed team.

Your Safety First: Quality Standards You Deserve

Our approach centers on what matters most to your safety and results:

What This Means for You

The February 16 deadline doesn’t affect Atrium because we’ve maintained the medical supervision and clinical standards that quality aesthetic medicine requires from the beginning.
